November 9 for Jodhaa Akbar too

November 9 is a big day in Bollywood for three reasons: Om Shanti Om, Saawariya and Jodhaa Akbar. If the festive day marks the release of the first two mega films, it will also witness the unveiling of the third- a four minute long theatrical trailer of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s much awaited ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ on the official website, ‘www.jodhaaakbar.com’.
The trailer goes:
After the Ashutosh Gowarliker Productions logo shines on-screen for over half a minute, the trailer starts off. The first few frames show Akbar( Hrithik Roshan) and Jodhaa( Aishwarya Rai) preparing for their Nikaah. And just when you expect Akbar to whisper ‘Nikaah Manjoor Hai’, he roars, ‘Hamle Ke Liye Tayyar….’
The screen goes black and Rahman’s high on-dholak background score goes wild. What follows is a montage of experior and interior shots from the film.

‘Good Luck’ for Sayali Bhagat

From a long time Bollywood film makers have been copying Hollywood films under the tag of ‘inspiration’. The latest in the bandwagon is Aditya Datt whose next venture ‘Good Luck’ is ‘inspired’ by Hollywood comedy ‘Just My Luck’ starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine. The movie has Sayali Bhagat and Aryeman in the lead roles. Other stars include Ranvir Shorey and Lucky Ali.
The original Hollywood flick had Lindsay playing the luckiest girl in New York City while Chris playing the unluckiest guy. Their lucks swapped when Lindsay kissed Chris at a masquerade resulting in bad luck for Lindsay and golden fortune for Chris. To regain her lost luck back, Lindsey goes about kissing every guy she meets.
