Rituparna Sengupta is all set to sizzle in the Bengali remake of Bipasha Basu-John Abraham-starrer Hindi film 'Jism', but she says that unlike the Bollywood actress it would be a challenge for her to play 'a sexy loner' convincingly in 'Trishna'..........
'I'm not copying Bipasha in 'Trishna'. It is no doubt a remake of 'Jism', but there are certain differences,' Rituparna, who is paired opposite newcomer Angshuman in the film, told IANS.

After her Bengali hit ‘Anuranan’, Rituparna Sengupta has some promising projects in her hands which are sure to strengthen her foothold in the Bollywood industry. The promos of her upcoming supernatural thriller ‘Gauri- The Unborn’ are out and the gal is busy these days promoting her film with her tour all over India.
Her next project which is on the verge of completion is ‘Saab Chai Paani’. The movie directed by Manish Gupta is based on corruption. Talking about it, Sengupta says, “I play Sonu Sood’s wife in the film who is a hardcore Maharashtrian. I didn’t have to speak much of Marathi, just a few words here and there. We also had someone on the sets to help me out“.
Her next film is titled ‘Love Game’ and has Randeep Hooda as her co-star. ‘Love Game’ is an out and out comedy film. The film is about a chef who keeps having relationships and changes girls by the day. But what happens when he actually falls in love is what the films is all about.
Not only this, Sengupta is also working in a serious political thriller titled BBD directed by Anjan Dutt. The title stands for three historical characters namely Binoy, Badal and Dinesh.
Looks like this Bong Beauty is all set to rock Bollywood with her talent and versatility!

Rituparna Sengupta in ‘Mittal v/s Mittal’

Karan Razadan’s next project is titled ‘Mittal vs Mittal’ which will be based on the subject of domestic violence. Rituparna Sen Gupta will portray the role of the victim and Rohit Roy has been roped in for male lead who will play Ritu’s husband’s role. Suchitra Krishnamurthy will play Ritu’s lawyer’s role. The film also stars Gulshan Grover and Reema Raghav. Shamir Tandon has composed the music for the film.
Mittal V/s Mittal is a story of a woman whose life turns into a nightmare after marrying her love interest. Feeling proud to have got an opportunity to play such a sensitive character Rituparna says, “My character is of a simple woman who ends up getting married to a man who is both mentally and physically sick who sexually exploits her.” She also adds, “Her miserable life compels her to file a case against her in-laws and finally emerges as the winner.”
